Plus Size Cashmere Sweaters
The luxury of cashmere is one that every woman should enjoy. You should have at least one cashmere sweater in your dresser drawer. Even if you wear a plus size, you can still enjoy wearing cashmere. You may also want to go online and look at the styles available from Eden Cashmere. Available in sizes 1X through 3X, these sweaters come in both pullover and cardigan style. You may also want to check sites like Ebay and Amazon for cashmere as you can sometimes find great bargains. If you're not averse to secondhand clothing, these shops may be a perfect source of cheap yet wearable cashmere.
Once you've found the perfect cashmere sweater that fits your size, you need to know how to wear it and how to care for it. Some people wear silk undergarments under their cashmere, others do not. Also cashmere should not just be reserved for dressy outfits -- it can also be paired with jeans for a casual yet stylish look. To keep your cashmere from developing pills, don't wear it too often and keep it away from rough surfaces. When your sweater is not being worn, fold it and keep in a garment bag.
There will come a time when your sweater will need to be washed. While the care tag on plus size cashmere sweaters will say Dry Clean Only, you can choose to hand wash. If you go this route, use gentle shampoo and a basin of water. Dissolve the shampoo in the water then dip the sweater. Submerge for 20 minutes, rinse, press excess water out by sandwiching your sweater between two towels and applying pressure or rolling them up to squeeze the moisture out, then lay your sweater flat to dry. You may want to shape or smooth it with your hands as it dries. While you may only need to launder your sweater once in awhile it's important to know the right way to do so.
